On the plus side, Hoffman does a good job of describing the natural beauty of the river, the many challenges canoers face, and some of the nice people he|About the Author|Gary brings over forty years of guiding canoe trips and story telling to Mighy Miss. He has been a Boy Scout Executive, Outward Bound Instructor, English teacher, Play Director and Minister before turning to writing.
